Oracle 9i is still being used in organisations around the world, one of our customers was still using this on a payment platform that was generating millions in revenue every year. We had the unique challenge of trying to load balance and migrate away from 9i to 12c.
Oracle 9i uses a control and data type of connectivity similar to passive mode FTP. This was extremely difficult to handle through a loadbalancer. Download the guide to see what we did to fix this issue.
